Carrie Chanos, PA-C,
Physician Assistant
Carrie Chanos, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and educator who graduated from the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program in 2006. Her clinical experience spans family medicine, corporate health, otolaryngology (ENT), and neurology, giving her a broad foundation in patient-centered, interdisciplinary care.
Carrie currently serves as a faculty member in the Rocky Vista University Physician Assistant Program, where she is dedicated to developing future clinicians through engaged teaching, mentorship, and a commitment to strong clinical reasoning.
Beyond her academic and clinical work, Carrie is passionate about wellness and community. She teaches fitness classes, enjoys CrossFit, and believes deeply in helping people live their best lives. She finds joy in celebrating the achievements—large and small—of the students, colleagues, patients, friends, and family around her.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys life with her husband, two sons, three cats, and giant dog.
