Chris Fischer, AGPCNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
I specialize in Adult Gerontology Primary Care medicine. I am passionate about preventative care, using evidence-based medicine to create a patient-centered plan. My focus promotes health, well-being, and disease prevention. Working in Internal Medicine allows me to build lasting patient and provider relationships.
I have always enjoyed working together with my patients. After six years as a medical assistant, I went back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Denver College of Nursing. As a registered nurse, I grew to appreciate the need for primary care providers and the role a nurse practitioner plays in delivering patient care. This appreciation led me to pursue a master’s nurse practitioner degree from the University of Colorado specifically focusing on adult care.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors in beautiful Colorado. I like hiking, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my fiancé, family, friends, and two dogs.
